English & Literature Extension is a Year 12-only subject offered in Queensland (QCE), designed for students who want to explore literature and critical theory at an advanced level. It extends students’ skills in textual analysis, theoretical interpretation, and scholarly writing — making it one of the most rigorous English subjects in the senior curriculum.
